Where can Christian artists get live feedback on their music?

For Christian artists and creators

Music. Feedback. Your next step.

Look for an active host whose musical interests fit your song, read the submission options on their live page, and arrive with one specific question. Rollout Heaven has creator pages where you can watch music reviews and check how to submit. A submission is a request for feedback, not a promise of a favorable review or a career result.

Start with the host, then choose the show

A useful review depends on who is listening. Watch part of a show before submitting. Notice whether the host discusses the writing, vocal performance, mix or message, and whether the conversation is respectful. A host who enjoys melodic Christian rap may hear your record differently from someone looking for a congregational worship song.

You can visit Childlike CiCi's live page and Scootie Wop's STARRBABY live page to check their current status and submission options. A page being available does not mean its host is broadcasting now. Check the page before making plans or paying to submit.

What should you have ready before submitting a song?

  1. A finished listening version. Export one file that represents the version you want reviewed. Do not send several nearly identical mixes without saying which one matters.
  2. Clear song details. Keep the artist name, song title and link consistent. Open the link in a private browser window to check that another person can access it.
  3. Permission to share. Make sure you can share the recording and any collaborators' contributions in the setting you choose.
  4. A focused question. Try “Can you understand the words in the chorus?” or “Does the vocal sit clearly above the beat?” Specific questions usually produce more actionable notes than “Is this a hit?”

Use Madigan's song preparation checklist to check the file, playback and feedback question before you join a queue.

Can I improve the vocal without buying another plugin?

If pitch correction is the missing tool in your recording setup, STARR TUNE is a free vocal tuning plugin for Windows and Mac. It runs in a compatible DAW. Work on the performance and recording level first, then adjust the tuning while listening with the beat. The Christian rap vocal recording guide explains that workflow.

Pitch correction does not remove room noise or replace a good performance. For other processing jobs, compare the functions in the STARRBABY plugin collection with what your DAW already includes. TUNE is free; other products have their own prices and terms.

What should I do with the feedback?

Write down the actual observation before deciding what to change. “The words disappear when the bass comes in” is something you can test. A listener's preference for a different style may not be a reason to rewrite your song. Keep your original session, make one change at a time and compare both versions at similar listening levels.

Listeners who want to explore the scene before submitting can start with CiCi's guide to discovering Christian hip hop. Listening widely helps you describe what you want your own music to communicate.

What if I want to host a show?

Rollout Heaven Live is a streaming platform for Christian creators only. The product page explains the studio, creator page and current pricing. Read the fees and requirements there before applying; this guide does not promise earnings, an audience size or a particular review outcome.

Common questions

Are live music reviews always free?

No. Each host's page shows the available submission options and prices. Check those details before joining a queue. The free STARR TUNE download is a separate product.

Can listeners watch without submitting a song?

Start on the creator's public page to see what is available to watch. Submitting music and hosting your own page are separate actions.

Should I change every detail a reviewer dislikes?

No. Ask what the reviewer heard, compare it with your intention and test the changes that address a concrete issue. One opinion is one listening perspective.
